Lego are launching new collectable minifigures in 2010. Most of these minifigs will contain rare elements and elements which will only be used with the collectable minifigures.

Prices are as followed:
UK: £1.99
US: $1.99
CAD: $2.49

Series 1


Series 1 will hit the stores in May.

Series 2




Series 2 will hit the stores in september.

Wow...I want to get those. Although I can think of a bunch of uses for the clown hair if it wasn't red. Maybe that'll be released as well. Those are really cool!

sorry but they came, and sold out in two days. they were only online and at Toy's R Us. They have even taken them off the lego shop site, the only place to find them now is ebay as far as I can tell

is series 2 out?I never found them at wal-mart.(not surprised though)

I just said they WERE out, the only store they were sold at was Toys R Us and lego shop. I know they were out because I managed to get 5 of them. They have SOLD OUT, you can only get them from ebay and non lego affiliated sites now. If you still don't believe me go to ebay and look up lego minifigures series 1. The reason you may have never seen them is because they sold out in about 2 or 3 days and then were taken off the online store in about a week. Then you may not have seen them in the store because they would only get one or two boxes of them and people would go to the store and buy the entire box to be able sell them at higher prices

well they have taken it off of lego shop so I assume it was limited time and that it isn't coming back

I guess there would come another time because the minifigs of Series 2 aren't added to the minisite of the minifigures.

I was thinking that it would be released in 2 months. Weird, maybe it was an exclusive pre order or something.

I haven't seen any series 2 on ebay, so I am pretty sure they will be released later this year, they will probably just add minifigures back into the lego shop again at that time

Let's hope they do, probably they are much expensiver at Ebay.

ya it was easy to miss, I only saw it because I kept checking lego shop and websites of local store every day around the release, but on ebay, currently they can cost anywhere from $3 to $7, unless you buy a whole box, then it is about $2.50 a piece, but then it comes out to about $180.00 total
